2024’s First Painting

Trying a 36×36 canvas for the first time. The new format made things interesting. Pretty happy with the results. It’ll be hanging at the Red Dog Gallery through March.

‘Nature’s Tempo’

A collection of paintings by Carolina Corona, Christy Jerrett, and Kevin Owen inspired by the rhythmic melody of nature’s diverse states.
Observations from dusk to dawn, from the forest to the flower meadows, and beyond.

Starting July 1st and running through the end of August, I will be joined by AFAS Artists Carolina Corona and Christy Jarrett for a show at the Red Dog Gallery in Winston-Salem. I will be at the Gallery for an “Afternoon with the Artist” event, July 11, 2020 from noon until 4:00. We will, of course, be trying to follow all of our Governor’s social distancing regulations so it won’t be a big event as we can’t have more than 10 in the gallery at a time and you might have to wait outside for a bit but it would be wonderful if you can join me.

A quick look at some of my work at the show.

Before I was an Architect …

Before I was a musician …

I was a painter, a crayoner, a gluer, a builder of stuff.  For as long as I can remember I have created things.  This website is intended to be a place to collect a lot of those musings.

Welcome.
